Trauma Sensitive Yoga

Research over the last ten years has shown that yoga is an effective treatment modality for individuals with post-traumatic stress. I specialize in Trauma-Informed Yoga, and feel honored to offer tools to help individuals release themselves from the grip of their past traumas. I have worked with veterans, sexual trauma victims, incarcerated individuals, people with adverse childhood traumas, and more. I teach from a trauma-informed lens in all of my yoga classes, with all populations, as I can never really know what previous experiences my students may bring with them.
